Race

THE RACE
Our race will be held on Sunday, June 3 in the Berkeley Park area of Hendersonville, NC  (15 minutes from south Asheville). More than 60 acres of park and trails in the heart of Hendersonville with views of the Blue Ridge Mountains makes it an awesome location for a weekend getaway!

Our course development committee is made up of professionals in the fields of physical fitness, outdoor experiences and development work. Our course will be MUDDY and utilize the challenges of the land on which our event is held. Click here to download our course map with training tips, safety guidelines and descriptions of the obstacles. Participants will be assigned a heat to run in at staggered times throughout the day.  You can register as an individual or as a team of four.  Individual race times will be between 12:00 and 1:00, and teams will race between 1:30 and 4:30.  After registration, your exact race time will be emailed to you.

This race is not recommended for young children, but children 12 and above will be allowed to race with an adult.  As with all of our racers, a liability waiver must be signed before participating.  If you have a child interested in running, check out the disgusting details below!!  The fastest timed individual male and female will be mailed a prize, along with the fastest team, with all participants’ times posted 2 days after the event on our website.  Other prizes may include most creative team name, most creative team outfit and a local “dirty business” competition.

Our race will be limited in participants, so register early.  $45/individual or $160/team if registering by March 31. Entry fees will increase on April 1st. There will not be registration the day of the event.

MAD MOUNTAIN MUD FUN
We will be having a Family Fun event on Saturday, June 2 from 6:00-8:00 for kids and adults to enjoy our mud!  Muddy games for all ages will be available, and a 1 mile mud run will be created with kids ages 8-12 in mind.  Young children will have their own muddy games, and anyone can enjoy mud tug of war or mud volleyball.  Registration information for this activity will be coming soon.
