The Mad Mountain Mud Run will be a challenging race with the objective to conquer obstacles while getting Muddy! Our race on Sunday, June 3, 2012 will be the first mud run in Western North Carolina, and our course will challenge you while using the beautiful mountains and landscapes of our area. Our objectives are clear as mud: create a fun and challenging event to draw mud-loving, extreme sports enthusiasts in our area with proceeds to benefit Hendersonville’s children’s museum: Hands On! – A Child’s Gallery.
We are expecting thousands of filthy people at our event. Dirty friends and family are welcome to join the festivities all day and cheer on the racers. Racers will be assigned a heat upon registration with race start times and parking details emailed to all registrants at a later date. One last thing — are you MAD enough to compete in the Mad Mountain Mud Run??

…and points north including Boone, Knoxville, Chattanooga, Johnson City, and Tri-Cities.
…and points east including Greensboro, Wilmington, Raleigh, and Fayetteville.
…and points south including Spartanburg, Traveler’s Rest, and all of upstate South Carolina.
